Micromanagement

What is Micromanagement?

Micromanagement is a negative term that is used to refer to a management style that uses extremely close supervision and control of an employee’s workload and results. Micromanagers tend to avoid delegating decision-making tasks to their employees. They may constantly scrutinize the employees to see whether they are producing the required results.
